Description ed.rettirnetad 2009-08-20 19:23:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Events shown in month view should not have such a thick decoration, especially not below and above the text. The headings (day of month) are too thick. With a screen size of 1280x800, which I think is normal on notebooks and netbooks, only 4 events can be displayed in a day field.

Possible Solution: Make events squared again (rounded corners are a waste of space), use not more that 1 pixel below and above text, show border color only left and right of text.

Same for kontact 4.11.5

in 5.x the decoration is also too "fat"
It should be slim, thin and light to allow a better overview
