Hi !

Sorry for my bad English, i'm french guy.

Gwenview is great, he can read psd (grey level) files, but, it's impossible to read psd (color) with Gwenview.

=> Black out of center window.

Thank's.

Sorry for my description, there is a error.

After many test :
 - Just psd color RGB 8bits it's ok.

 - color RGB 16bits & color RGB 32bits doesn't work.
 - grey 8,16,32bits doesn't work.
 - Couleur indexée (in french => color index ?!) don't work.

for the tests : (it's a big file .7z)

Gwenview relies on the Qt and kimgio to decode images. In this case the psd plugin comes from kimgio.

Ok.

Do I have to make the other thing ? Like creat bug report for kimgio ?

Can we by-pass the probleme for the moment ?

thank's

You don't need to create a new bug report: I reassigned this report to kimgio.
You may want to directly mail the author of the psd plugin and point him to this report (I can't add him to the CC because he doesn't have a bugzilla account).

The author of the plugin is Ignacio Castaño <castano@ludicon.com>

still valid in 4.9.0

Should be solved by MR !56 (https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kimageformats/-/merge_requests/56)
