I have the same bug here with ktimetracker r 1026314 branch compiled from sources.

After updating to KDE 4.4 I still had that problem, but it turned out that it was only due to an outdated ~/.kde4/share/apps/ktimetracker/ktimetrackerui.rc.  After removing that file, everything was fine.  (Maybe there should be a way of updating that file automatically after a new version has been installed.)
