Version: (using Devel) Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources - Launch KAddressBook. - Go to File/New/New Contact - Enter data in the Contact tab. - Then go to the Location tab, click on the 'New' button and fill in an address - Click on the Edit Label button. No address is diplayed, you have to type it again. - Type it again in the 'Delivery Label' dialogue. Click on the 'Ok' button. Nothing happens (ex: no new popup dialogue or printing assistant) and no labels are printed. SVN REV 1011519
Hej Sabine, the 'label' of an address is part of the vCard specification and is defined to be the formatted text corresponding to delivery address of the object the vCard represents. So you can type in an alternative representation of the address that can be used by other applications that for example print labels. Howver this is out of the scope of KAddressBook. It just allows the user to type in or change the label. Ciao, Tobias
Ok. Maybe there could be a tool tip to explain how this is supposed to work then. From what I can see addresse(s)(ex: Home, Work) are displayed on the right hand side of Kaddressbook main window. But if a label address is entered for the Work address for example then it is displayed instead of the standard address. Why is the standard address not displayed as well in Kaddressbook? Note: both work addresses are displayed when selecting 'detailled Style' in the printing assistant which makes more sense in my opinion. Trunk, Svn Rev 1016607
