Description Ritesh Raj Sarraf 2009-08-14 08:35:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Extended Desktop here is with an ATI r300 card. I use a Virtual Desktop when connecting my external monitor at resolution 1280x1024.

My laptop LVDS is at: 1400x1050

I extend my desktop using "xrandr --output VGA-0 --right-of LVDS"

The problem is, that on the extended VGA-0 monitor, the plasmoids that I put, lose their position.
This happens after logout+login. All the plasmoids go and pile up in the upper-left corner of the extended display.

Screenshot is attached to explain the problem.

Please let me know further steps on how to help you with root-causing this bug.
