Description fanisatt 2009-08-12 08:36:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

There are 2 DVD/CD drives in my system. Kscd can play audio cds but only to the first DVD (/dev/sr0). Even if I put a non audio cd in this device , kscd tries to play it ....... My Fedora 11 KDE x86_64 OS can now see the audio cds (after the recent final upgrade to KDE 4.3). So I can see my audio cd to the "Devices recently plugged in". If the audio cd is in the first DVD/CD player (/dev/sr0), then when I choose to play it , it is ok, but if the audio cd is in the second DVD/CD player (/dev/sr1), then kscd tries to play anything I have in the /dev/sr0 device.
In addition I have to tell you that in the "system settings / advanced / audio CDs" I specify as my cd device the /dev/sr1 one !

Other applications can play audio cds on /dev/sr1 device.
