Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

For the last couple of days, clicking on a URL in KMail did not open the link.  In systemsettings, default applications,web browser, changing the action from the default setting to 'in the following browser' and entering 'konqueror' cures this.

Works here with KDE 4.4.

Sorry - never saw notification of comment 1.  I agree, it seems to have been fixed in upgrades, some time back.
