Description anton 2009-08-10 16:41:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Notification progress plasmoid is sometimes corrupted - see attached screenshot.

Also sometimes it is visually broken in a different way - it tries to adjust its horizontal size and becomes something like cut-off from the right.

Mh, the only "corruption" I see is the "more" button height being invalid: reported at bug 202879.
The ellipsis in the filename is not a bug; as it allows you to see the start and the end of the filename if it is too long (I wonder if you get a tooltip with the fullname when you hover that chopped name; as KSqueezedLabel would do)

Besides from that two comments, is there any other corruption I'm not seeing ?
Regards

I think no - I just saw too high button - that gave me an impression of corrupted layout (as other parts with it also look inaccurate) - and reported a bug.

For the 2nd issue - as I saw it again - this is how this happens:
1. notification panel is first shown with the right border located far righter from the tray right border (like on the screenshot)
2. then the panes shrinks - right border moves to tray's right border (to the "i" icon), but its left part remains on its old place - so the left content of the panel is cut off.

Mh, your last description reminded me of bug 202936. Can you check it (and the video too)? Thanks
Comment 5 anton 2009-08-11 21:54:50 UTC
Yes, that's it, so both issues are dups
Comment 6 Dario Andres 2009-08-11 22:33:33 UTC
Yes, I'm closing this as dupe of bug 202879. Thanks
