Description Georg Wittenburg 2009-08-09 22:24:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Since 4.3.0 (and possibly in the RCs, too), kio_fish is unusable. Dolphin pops up the "died unexpectedly" error message. .xsession-errors contains the following lines:

kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/kio_fish.so
kioslave: ####### CRASH ###### protocol = fish pid = 8286 signal = 29

kio_fish used to work fine in 4.2.x.

I'd like to confirm this.
4.3.0 released, openSUSE 11.1, using the openSUSE built RPMs.

I'm very available for testing.
Comment 2 Georg Wittenburg 2009-08-19 08:46:00 UTC
Things started for work again. Maybe a Debian packaging problem? Anyway, I'm closing as WORKSFORME.
