Version: unknown (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29.4 i assume "systemsettings/sound" means "System Settings" -> "Multimedia" (and hope, somebody cares to unify those names). simple question: what is one supposed to do with taht kind of "configuration interface"? - where do those "output devices" come from and what is one supposed to do with them? there's no context dialog, nothing - what use has the "backend" tab? where does the little, if all, configuration offered into play? what means "deinterlacing" and when is it used? - how does one configure these backends? where can i enable my bluetooth headset?
KDE SC 4.4.0 will be released with a documentation for this systemsettings modele, see http://docs.kde.org/development/en/kdebase-runtime/kcontrol/phonon/index.html Does this answer your questions?
