What I was doing when the application crashed:
after freshly installing KDE4.3 from backports into Jaunty, logged in to microblogger widget (twitter.com)...only my own tweets were shown, so attempted to mess with settings...but unchecking the 'show friends' checkbox (and pressing 'ok') causes plasma to crash
