Description Steve Evans 2009-08-08 11:51:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
Compiler: gcc 4.1.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When I change the "Reply to Sender" template in the "Configure Kmail" dialog all message tags are lost. They do not appear on messages or in the "Message Tags" tab of the "Configure Kmail" dialog.

The message tags are no longer present in the file .kde/share/config/kmailrc. If I restore the message tags from a backup of that file then they reappear in Kmail, both on the messages that had been previously tagged and in the "Configure Kmail" dialog.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
