Version:           0.70.90 (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

I kopete deployed on the second desktop: http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/9059/screen23g.png

I turn next to the first desktop and click on the icon in the tray - moving to the second desktop with kopete: http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/3383/screen24.png. You can see that the box shifted slightly down and right. Then, if you double-click on the icon in the tray on the current desktop, the window down, and then spread to the original normal position.

This bug I have seen with earlier versions of kde4. On kde3 behavior was predictable.

Have you configured a different window manager or are you using the default window manager?

I using the default window manager kwin. The advanced properties window (kopete) I set the save size, position and desktop.

I checked, it does not appear in the current version. I propose to close the bug as resolved.
