Description Tony Bigbee 2009-08-07 06:13:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When manually starting vpnclient via /etc/init.d/vpnclient_init, Plasma always crashes. Vpnclient_init as part of the normally boot/startup sequence appears to not interact with Plasma in this way, but I am unsure.

Plasma is successfully automatically restarted.

Plasma crash reporter is unable to generate a symbol table.

If you can reproduce the crash at will, may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace here? Thanks

Thanks. As a workaround remove the NetworkManager plasmoid which is unstable.
