Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages The description says it all. It only happens in certain situations, but with really annoying effects when I'm trying to reply to a person who sent an email to a list. Other email clients I've tested (Apple's Mail, and the web interface from the University) properly reply to the sender. For what it's worth, below is a message (with all headers) that would cause this problem. All emails from this list have this problem. can you attach the mail instead of pasting it, please.
What format do you want the attachment in? (And how would I export it in to that format?) Thanks.

Thanks. The explanation for kmails behavior: When you hit reply, it tries to be smart and check to whom to reply to. In this case (the first of the 3 mails you attached) has no specific "Reply-To" header, so the next thing kmail checks is to see if there is a "List-Post:" header - which this mail has - and uses this one. If there was no such header, the last thing kmail would use was the "From" header - which is what you would expect, I assume. To reply to the Author instead, simply click-hold the reply Toolbutton and wait that the pulldown menu appears and select "Reply to Author".
Interesting. Is there a way to make "reply to Author" the default?

I've realized that I attached a bad example email. Other mail clients treat it the same way kmail does. The next attachment is one that others don't have trouble with. Let me know if the same explanation holds. Thanks.
