Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs kde 4.3-0.1 kcolorchooser is completely devoid of the ability to be minimized. I often keep kcolorchooser open and minimized so I have a handy color reference. In kde 4.3 there is no capability to minimize the application. That's nuts. Here is a screenshot showing kde4 and kde3 kcolorchooser running side by side. The kde4 version simply has no minimize button and the "Minimize" option is greyed out in the alt+f3 window menu. Where in the heck did the ability to minimize this application go? http://www.3111skyline.com/download/openSUSE_bugs/kde4/screenshots/kcolorchooser.jpeg
Very strange. Using current trunk the "minimize" button is visible. Does it happen even with oxygen or ozone kwin style?
Created attachment 35905 [details] screenshot from report P.S: next time remember to attach files to bugzilla directly, not link on external resource. An external file could be deleted. Thanks
Created attachment 35906 [details] screenshot using oxygen and KDE 4.3 This screenshot is kcolorchooser with oxygen decoration using KDE 4.3.
what does this have to do with plasma? please find a more appropriate component to file this against. kwin, maybe. but plasma has exactly nothing to do with window management or borders.
Let's reassign to "kde" until we get the proper source of the issue
That seems to be fixed in 4.5 (I can minimize KColorchooser), so this bug report is closed. If you still experience this problem feel free to reopen.
