Description g111 2009-08-06 00:01:02 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

For switching the user I press Ctrl+Alt+Insert to open the user switch requester.

In this requester nothing is selected, so I cannot simply press return to start a new session. Instead you first have to step down one entry with cursor-down.

It would be nice if the first entry of the requester was preselected.

I've reproduced the bug in current trunk (r1008368).

(moved bug to krunner, but I'm not sure it is the right product)

in kde 4.5.1, the first entry is preselected, but you cannot immediately activate it by pressing enter. you need to reselect it first by cursor keys

In KDE4.6.1 the new-session entry is automatically selected and it works to just press return for activating it. So I think I can close this bug (and open another wish to be able to press up/down to navigate in the list of existing sessions without the need of pressing tab before. ;) )
