Version: (using KDE 4.3.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Start korganizer 2. Create a recurring to-do with due date January 1, 2010, recurring the 1st day of every year. 3. On the to-do list, mark the to-to from step (2) as completed. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: As in 4.3.0RC2, the to-do is revised with a new due date and not marked completed. ACTUAL BEHAVIOR: The to-do behaves as though it were not recurring; it is marked 100% completed and the due date is not changed. ADDITIONAL BEHAVIOR: This is a regression, this feature was working fine in 4.3.0RC2.
There is a workaround to the current bug. Workaround is as follows: 1. Create to-do as above, but do not mark it as completed. 2. Close k-organizer and reopen. 3. Mark the to-do as completed. In this use case, I get the "expected behavior", not the actual behavior.
I reproduced it in KDE4.3 but not in 4.4. Can you retest?
This is fixed in 4.4.
