I have switched the link-underlining behaviour of konqueror to "hover" ( so links only get underlined when the mouse passes over them ). When I have many links ( e.g. browsing FTP dirs ) and I move the mouse fast over the links the hovering is really slow and cannot catch up with the mouse. What is going on there? It is nearly impossible that the highlighting and underlining of filenames takes that much time.

we're aware of that issue. but its not that simple to solve as it might look 
to you.
