Description Maciej Pilichowski 2009-08-05 12:52:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.00)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Try to configure toolbar. You should notice, that:

a) kate is configured to use two "open" buttons in toolbar (fresh install), but only one is actually shown in toolbar

b) there are two "save" buttons to put on toolbar; one from katepart set -- this works, and one from main kate set -- this one does not work

Those issues came from Kate/KDE3 I believe because I observed exactly the same behaviour.
Comment 1 Christoph Cullmann 2011-06-26 13:59:23 UTC
a) yeah, weired :( If I only would know why :)
b) seems to be gone in KDE 4.6, there is no save for normal kate (only save all/session/session As...)
Comment 2 Christoph Cullmann 2011-11-07 12:16:45 UTC
For a), this looks like xmlgui problem, not sure what could be wrong in the kate ui.xml files :(
