Version:            (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I can't login to KDE. When I try to I just get a black screen with mouse available and several blue and white pixels at the top left and bottom right corners.

P.S. forgot to mention that this may happen after KDE upgrade...

You should try to update your KDE packages
