Version: 1.0.0-beta3 (using KDE 4.2.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages When selecting an area to be cropped, I would be useful to be able to move not only the corners of the selection area, but also the sides. This would make it possible to resize the selection while selectively keeping the height or width fixed.
Digikam Version 4.12.0 OS Linux/Kubuntu 14.04LTS Installed from: Ubuntu ppa Request is still valid (2105) image Editor / Tools / Cropping with ratio I would like to add to this which list: 1- it would be great if a selection is already defined, that it stays in it's current place. Currently is moved to the center of the image when you change the ratio/orientation via one of the combox of the tool panel. When you try to different ratio, you expect the center of the selection to stay fix and the box to be readjusted keeping existing length or width of the selection. (This behaviour is really annoying when you try to keep precise ratio with the tool panel) 2- Add modify a box size from it's center using the mouse(like in Gimp: with a meta Ctrl+Drag or Maj+Drag of one the side of the box). Modification of the size of the box is to be made keeping the center at it's original place when using this gesture.
This wish is only relevant of Aspect Ratio Crop plugin, not native crop tool which have already this feature. Gilles Caulier
