Description MatzUp 2009-08-01 10:17:28 UTC
Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

My English is not very good, so I hope you understand my BUG-Report.
I want to Import a CSV-List in my contacts, and there are many columns. When I'm scrolling through the columns, only the columns will scroll but not the titel-bar where I can choice which column should be which Data in "Konatct".

same problem in version 4.3.2

the offset between the dropdown boxes and the table is getting worse as more items are in the table separated by commata.
Comment 4 MatzUp 2009-10-31 16:44:11 UTC
It would be pretty nice if it will be fixed in the next version.
Comment 5 dag 2010-01-06 16:50:17 UTC
This is still a problem in 4.3.4

KDE 4.5 on Mandriva 2010.1
My problem is that the CSV import process ignores empty fields, whether separated by commas or tabs. I think that the above comments are all part of the same problem, and several versions of KDE since the first post, the problem is still evident. I think an increase in priority is called for!

Did one of you test with kaddressbook from KDE 4.4.6 ?

As far as I can see with the actual development version, this was fixed.
Comment 9 Tobias Koenig 2010-10-17 15:38:32 UTC
Hej,

this bug has already been fixed in KDE-PIM 4.5.

Ciao,
Tobias
Comment 10 Graeme Gemmill 2010-11-01 14:29:43 UTC
Sorry to contradict, Tobias, but the bug has not been fixed. I've just upgraded
to KDE4.5.2, and neither Addressbook (4.4.6) nor Kontact (4.4.6) resolve the
"missing"/null fields.
When I searched for KDE PIM, I was directed to Kontact, so I assume KDE PIM is
not a separate application.
