Version:           1.12.0 (using 4.2.98 (KDE 4.2.98 (KDE 4.3 RC3)) "release 150", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.25-0.1-pae

When using both actions in my toolbar, I see 2 times the same icon, which is not good.

It seems there is no mail-message-new-list.png, which is used
in  mPostToMailinglistAction = new KAction( KIcon( "mail-message-new-list" ),
kmmainwidget.cpp

is this bug still valid? I see no screnshot of the problem so I cant be sure.

Yes, it is still valid. See screenshot attached. You'll see both actions with the same icon.

Committed revision 1143963. that should fix this bug.
will talk to kmail people so they link it
