Description Steve 2009-07-30 05:41:00 UTC
Version: 0.10.0 (using KDE 4.2.4)
Compiler: gcc version 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

When I try to add an mp3 file to Digikam-0.10.0 slideshow module, it seems to load the mp3 song and clicking the 'Testing the sound' works, but when I start a slideshow, it doesn't play music. When I look in the Slideshow Advance window, the mp3 is gone.

Steps I tried

Open Digikam
Choose Slideshow
Advance Slideshow
Soundtrack
Select the + key to add mp3
select mp3 and close box
start slideshow

I have Mandriva-2009.1 also.

Which version of the kipi-plugins are you using?
I fixed a few bugs in the last two weeks so you should try kipi-plugins-0.5.0 which was released last weekend.

My version is kipi-plugins-0.3.0-0.2mdv2009.1.i586 for Mandriva so I'll try the 0.5.0 version.

Thnx.

New Kipiplugins 4.11.0 is available :

https://www.digikam.org/node/740

Can you reproduce the problem with this release ?

Since the tool is moved to digiKam core with 5.0.0 release, this
problem is not reproducible.
