Description Corey Schuhen 2009-07-30 01:08:58 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Here is the use case.

Local timezone is set to Australia/Brisbane. Time is about 9AM.

I open calendar in Kontact and press new event.

Fill in title...

I fill in Start to be Yesterday 8PM America/Chicago time.

I press apply. The item is created with the correct local time but the wrong local date. This can be seen in the calendar view. 8PM Yesterday Chicago time should be 11AM Today Brisbane time instead it is shown as 11AM Yesterday Brisbane time.

I will try and attach a screenshot to show this.

b.t.w. Adding the ability to select timezones for input events is a fantastic feature that I have wanted for a long time! It will be even better when I don't have to manually adjust the date.

Corey,

I can't reproduce this in KDE4.3.0
Therefore I'm closing. Please reopen this bug if it happens again for you in KDE4.3.0 or higher.
