Description Michael McLagan 2009-07-29 21:34:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When starting a terminal with:

wmctrl -s 6;rxvt -iconic -geometry 80x79+10+10 -title "`hostname -s`:`whoami`" &

The resulting window is iconized but appears in the relevant desktop's button as though it were it's full size. See attached (assuming it will let me) PNG files.

Shows iconic window

Immediately after executing 'rxvt' command, desktop 7 shows the window as though it was opened normally (not iconic).

After restore/minimize

The rxvt window is restored and then minimized, removing the ghost window from the button for desktop 7.

Appearantly I can't change the product -- it should be widget-pager not kpager.

Sorry...

Can you please specify the problem?
What does the iconic option?

Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later.
