Description Jithin Emmanuel 2009-07-29 18:31:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

My amarok collection is getting corrupted frequently. Most of my albums disappears from collection and the ones in playlist will have 0 in time field.

Rescanning collection will update in correctly only for that instance if I restart amarok it gets corrupted again. Only was to fix is to delete the .kde/share/apps/amarok folder

I have my mp3 files in an external usb drive.

Which version of Amarok are you using?

I've seen this bug this week with a current Neon build (though not with the zero time) I provoked it by not having the external drive connected amarok recanned the collection and when I mounted the drive and did a manual rescan I had a collection with incorrect artists and albums. Removing the directory with the usb mount point and then re-adding it solved much of this but not all

I am using amarok 2.1.1. Something like robert described happened to me also. And amarok gave me no warning about whether disk is present or not.
