Description Malte S. Stretz 2009-07-29 15:11:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Try the following:

1. Go to http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/amd64/kget/download
2. Click on any of the links
3. Choos Save As...
3. KGet will ask you where to save that file (New Download). Try ~/Desktop
4. Click OK
5. Another Save As Dialog will pop up (wtf?)
6. Click save.
7. This works. Sometimes. Sometimes something like the following happens:
8. Go back to the download page
9. Right-click any link.
10. Choose Save Link as...
11. Try to save it in ~/Desktop
12. A new Rename Transfer dialog appears: A similar file named '/home/mss/Desktop' already exists.

Ah, I forgot: The first only works if you manually add a trailing slash to the folder name in the New Download dialog.
