Description G Cohen 2009-07-28 10:25:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When a new email is received to an old thread, can we please have the thread moved to the top of the messages list and mark the thread as having unread email(s)? I realise I can move to next unread email by clicking on +, but that's only half of the problem, as if yesterday I received a reply in a month old thread which I want to reply to today, I have to scan all my emails a month back in time rather than having it under the date of the last email in the thread.

Curiously enough, it seems to work that way (minus marking thread as having unread emails) during the first mail check after starting Kmail, but not for emails received while kmail was running.

Strange - I see threads moved to the top when new mails arrive. Has this been solved for you too?

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
