Description m.wege 2009-07-27 19:42:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have a laptop configured to 1024*768. When I open the configure filter options in kmail the configuration window is too wide. It is also not possible to shrink it, even though from the content I see, it should easily fit. There seems to be a fixed with, which prevents resizing.

Can you post a screen shot? If you are unsure which widget causes the wide display, you could try all combo boxes and look for the widest text. Maybe some translation is too long.

Since the screenshot would contain private emailadresses, I would like to send it to someone and not post it here.

@m.wege, you could use a graphics editor to overwrite in any color the private emailaddress of the screenshot, using for example Krita, kolourpaint, gimp, ....
(just save the file in a format like png or jpg to avoid several layers).
