Version:           unknown (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), MinGW 3.4.5)
Compiler:          gcc.exe
OS:                Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional)

At startup the following pop up message comes "korgac.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"  Click here gives:
  "Error signature
     AppName: korgac.exe  AppVer: 0.0.0.0   ModName: ntdll.dll
     ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512    Offset: 00011109"
Kontact then continues normally.  This happens every time I open Kontact.

Probably you need to upgrade to KDE 4.3 when it arrives in few weeks.

Some of us have been using Kontact on Windows 4.3 release candidates for a little while and we haven't encountered that.

the version reported as well as this bug report are extremely old.

will close this as unmaintained.

if this problem continues with more modern versions, feel free to reopen or report a new bug.
