Description Elias Probst 2009-07-26 12:30:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I've added my Last.fm iCal calendar to my resources list (Akonadi Configuration KCM) as a read-only source:
webcal://ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/user/eliasp/events.ics

But now it's impossible to rename this resource as it is possible with other resources.

It is displayed as 'akonadi_ical_resource_2' but I'd like to be able to rename it to something like "My Last.fm Events".

You're saying you can rename Akonadi resources, other than read-only ical resources? Are you sure?

Please check this and if negative, change the bug description to something like: "impossible to rename Akonadi resources"

To be more specific:
I can rename other Akonadi calendar resources (I have a resource using a locally stored vCal file).

But renaming any other resource isn't possible, so you're right, the bug should be renamed. I'm missing the permissions to do this - could anyone with the given permissions do it?

Thanks!

ICal resource allows for some time now changing display name in resource configuration dialog (right-click the calendar and click Calendar Properties). Alternatively the display name (together with icon) can be changed in Folder Properties dialog.
