Description Ray 2009-07-23 03:59:26 UTC
Application that crashed: plasma-desktop
Version of the application: 0.3
KDE Version: 4.2.96 (KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2))
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.30-ARCH x86_64

What I was doing when the application crashed:
When I logged in immediatly after, Kwallet sent a request asking for login, the only thing I can think of is a widget I installed, google calender. I set it up for use with Kwallet, not thinking it would be requested at start up.

- Do you have any widget installed which could be using Python as language?
- Do you think you would be able to reproduce the crash at will again ?

This could be a PyQt/PyKDE bindings error too.
Thanks
Comment 2 Ray 2009-07-24 06:01:40 UTC
The only ones that I can think of are the DaeMon, Google Calender, and Plasmocon. When those three run I can reproduce the crash every time.
Comment 3 Dario Andres 2009-07-24 18:02:05 UTC
Mh.. "Plasmocon" seems to be using PyKDE. Can you check if without it Plasma doesn't crash? Thanks
Comment 4 Ray 2009-07-24 20:42:55 UTC
Plasmacon doesn't crash plasma, when I use it alone, I will check it if I mix it with other plasmoids.

This crash report is at least 3 years old and there were no further comments or status updates since then.

Therefore we believe that this crash is already fixed in recent KDE 4 versions or the backtrace is no longer applicable to the current KDE 4 sources.

If the crash still happens with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or 4.11), please add an updated backtrace or provide steps to reproduce. For more information, see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

(To prevent automatic closing of this bug in the future, please set the bug status to ASSIGNED or CONFIRMED)
