Description Ulrich Link 2009-07-22 10:39:08 UTC
Version: 1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.10.4", openSUSE 11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-default

Every year, when i get my laptop exchanged and i install a fresh
linux i face the same situation.

KMail is installed and empty (that's normal). But how to get
all previous emails (from the other laptop) and all connections imported correctly from the old kmail installation.

I really would appreciate to have a script that saves (packs) the mail directory and the "config"files for kmail to install them in the new environment and perhaps on the next version of kmail.

Ignore this request if this feature is available and it's only me to be too stupid. (rtfm-whish).

Have a lot of fun
