Version: (using KDE 4.0.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Having huge IMAP-accounts it takes long time to go through alle IMAP-folders to check for new mail. It would be very helpful to have a "laptop-mode" in kmail where just the INBOX is checked to make the IMAP-download faster and to save (expensive) UMTS-dialup-traffic. Alternatively just a list of specially selected folders are checked. This has nothing to to with IMAP-subscriptions, because existing IMAP-folders should still exist. But even on my desktop is checking all that IMAP-folders again and again very annoying. New mails in IMAP-Subfolders could exist, but they are very seldom. Instead I want to check my INBOX very fast and often, but I have so many IMAP-folders that it takes always round about >15 minutes to go through all of them. It would be helpful to check INBOX (or INBOX + selected folders) every <n> minutes very often and all other folders every <m> minutes/hours very seldom just to keep them in sync. KMAIL should have *TWO* different configuration options how often a IMAP-download should start. Folders with local changes should always be included in the next check to get the server in sync with them as fast as possible.
