Version:            (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Unlisted Binary Package

If you set rekonq as the default application for HTML and then click on a link in e.g. KMail instead of opening the link in a new tab, it will open it in the current tab, but also create a new empty tab next to that.
