Version: 1.0.0-beta2 (using 4.2.96 (KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2)), Mandriva Linux release 2010.0 (Cooker) for i586) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-desktop-2mnb 1. first experiment 1. plug a kodak c913 2. select digikam in the peripheral notification 3. go to 'import" in digikam 4. go to camera 5. go to kodak 6. you see photos 2. second experiment no dc in dolphin in the left panel, /mnt, /media same thing if you don't launch digikam 3. third experiment no dc in digikam in "import/add images" in dolphin selector 4. in digikam/import the option "usb mass storage device" is in grey 4. audio cd or dvd are well seen by dolphin

DC does not appears in dolphin DC does not appears in digikam/import/add images DC is not readable via digikam/import/"usb mass storage device" one or several cases among these cases are not right ?
digikam 1.0.0b4 kipi-plugins 0.5.0 pb still there : cannot access through dolphin to camera memory card
Dolphin do _not_ use digiKam camera interface. It's completly different. The only common code come from libgphoto2 for PTP/proprietary cameras Sound like a DOWNSTREAM problem... Gilles Caulier
