Version: (using KDE 4.2.90) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Such entries like recently used or favourites can be shown or hidden (very good), but I don't see a point that such entry as "recently installed" has to be hardcoded in the menu. It is a bug for several reasons -- user is not an admin, so it is not his/her business to see what was installed, second: on small screen it takes space. Always. Even after 3 months of last install. And besides -- user should be in control.
Isn't "recently installed" list a feature implemented by OpenSuse?
I cannot tell because I use only opensuse, so I have no reference to vanilla KDE.
y, it's a SuSE feature and I assume it's bound to yast somehow. So, there is nothing we can do about it.
