Description Frank Schaefer 2009-07-18 17:29:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When KDE is shut down with Kate opened, the application plugins configuration settings (menu "Settings"->"Configure Kate": Application->Plugins) are ignored when Kate is automatically restored at the next KDE-start. All plugins are disabled.
When I close and reopen Kate, everything is fine again (configuration is applied, plugins are activated).

I can confirm this. I had not pinned down a way to reproduce but this method seems to be it. If I shut down with kate running I lose the plugin configuration for all of my kate sessions.
