Description Radu Benea 2009-07-18 14:01:56 UTC
Application that crashed: akregator
Version of the application: 1.4.50
KDE Version: 4.2.96 (KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2))
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-gentoo-r6 x86_64

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was looking at the Nuno Pinheiro (pinheiro): Develop, develop develop! feed from planet kde.

I clicked complete story, then on the icons, then the back button, the page just started refreshing when akregator crashed.

I can't reproduce the crash. Do you experience it only with this post ? can you reproduce it every time ?
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-07-18 16:58:49 UTC
You got the same backtrace in bug 200593 (konqueror).
I wonder if it could be some kind of installation issue.
Thanks
Comment 3 Radu Benea 2009-07-18 17:33:20 UTC
not everytime, it's something like 3/5
the bugs might be related, however I tried building again today kdelibs libkonq and konqueror with no success

the previous build from like 10 days ago worked, the one from yesterday started having problems, if it were an installation problem shouldn't it have been showing before too ( I use gentoo ebuilds from kde-testing overlay so there almost no way for me to do it wrong )

Comment 5 Frank Reininghaus 2009-07-25 20:58:31 UTC
I agree with Darío: this looks like a dup of bug 200593/bug 201315 which is a regression in KDE 4.3 RC 3.

Have you used the released 4.3 RC 2 version when you got this crash? This version should actually not contain the bug...
Comment 6 Radu Benea 2009-07-25 20:59:42 UTC
used a svn build between kde4.3 rc2 and rc3
Comment 7 Frank Reininghaus 2009-07-25 21:48:58 UTC
Thanks for the update! It's must have been an SVN revision after the problematic commit then.
