Version: 0.8.4 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29.4 i've got 4 pages to print on one sheet -- and i want the order 1 | 2 ----- 3 | 4 selecting order "left to right, top to bottom" sound about right, but prints 3 | 4 ----- 1 | 2 chosing "left to right, bottom to top" prints the very same order, no difference at all.
I found a similar issue. I have landscape presentation pages and want them to be printed with 4 pages on a sheet (also landscape). You expect the print order as: 1 | 2 3 | 4 Nevertheless, Okular seems to print by default this order (tested multiple documents): 3 | 1 4 | 2 When the paper is turned counter clockwise the order of the numbers are ok. The same method is used to correct this order. If 1-2-3-4 is rotated clockwise, it looks like: 2 | 4 1 | 3 Which means "Bottom to top, left to right". Printing 4 pages per sheet with bottom to top, left to right results finally in a 4 pages per sheet layout which is correct (Okular 0.10.2, KDE 4.4.2)
on Okular 0.19 (KDE Applications 4.13) and cups 1.7.2 i got the 1 | 2 3 | 4 order you mention so I'm closing this bug. Please if this bug still happens for you with Okular >= 0.19 (KDE Applications >= 4.13) and cups >= 1.7.2 please reopen this bug.
