Description Andreas Walter 2009-07-18 13:29:08 UTC
Version: 4.3.0 rc2 (4.2.96-141.3) (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hello,

I tried to drag a news from one local folder to another one, or from
a group to a local folder like i did before in versions for KDE 3.5 by clicking and holding the left mouse button.
The mouse did not change to show the dragging.

Is it a bug or even not jet implemented?

With best regards.

Andreas

I can confirm this bug. I don't believe this feature has worked since July 2008. The last record I have of this working is in January 2008. Also, I am no longer able to configure Knode to automatically send a copy of a message I send to a particular folder instead of it going to the default of "Sent". This feature seems to have ceased operating in January 2008. The problems appeared, for me at any rate, before I used KDE4.

These bugs make "Local Folders" a bit of a farce. I can create new folders or import them but once there they are useless.

Confirming this quite serious bug still exists in KDE 4.4.2. As the previous commenter notes, this makes local folders completely useless.

This bug is still present in knode 4.4.6 running with KDE 4.5.1
on opensuse 11.3. This really degrades the usefullness of knode -
no way to save an article except cut & paste.

Why, after more than a year, has nobody bothered to investigate this problem or even acknowledge that it exists. I find it annoying that the status is still "unconfirmed" after all this time. Perhaps the KDE team all now use fora instead of NNTP? ;-)

The bug is still there in 4.7.4 and it's over a year after my last comment and still nothing from support. Status is still "unconfirmed." That is nonsense. Wake up!

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
