Description David Rankin 2009-07-17 05:58:38 UTC
Devs,

When using Archlinux, I never know what to put in the "Distribution Method" drop down. Any chance "Archlinux" can be added to the list?
Comment 1 Matt Rogers 2009-07-17 22:38:06 UTC
I could have sworn that I add archlinux already, but it's gone, so i'll add it again.
Comment 2 David Rankin 2009-07-30 02:14:28 UTC
Excellent -- Thank you!
Comment 3 David Rankin 2009-07-30 07:14:43 UTC
Hey Matt,

I just added http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201970 and I still cannot find Archlinux as a distribution method. Any idea when it will appear?
Comment 4 Matt Rogers 2009-07-30 15:00:58 UTC
it will have been added when this bug is closed.
Comment 5 David Rankin 2009-08-06 17:23:37 UTC
Thanks,

As long as it is still open, the correct name should be "Arch Linux". Thanks Matt.
Comment 6 Dario Andres 2009-09-11 13:54:28 UTC
I can select "ArchLinux packages" even for new and existing reports. Can this be closed? Thanks
Comment 7 Dario Andres 2009-09-11 13:56:11 UTC
Bah, the wizard combobox is missing that entry...
Comment 8 Matt Rogers 2009-09-11 20:08:45 UTC
Close it.
Comment 9 David Rankin 2009-11-11 14:48:45 UTC
Matt, this is a little one, but see comment #5. Any chance we can get the listing as "Arch Linux" instead of "Archlinux". Thanks

[Comment from a bug triager and former DrKonqi dev]
About that I must add that DrKonqi (the KDE Crash Handler tool) uses the "Archlinux packages" string when sending bug reports. Changing this value now will break all the existant drkonqi installations and the users won't be able to report crashes
Comment 11 Ben Cooksley 2012-03-14 09:04:20 UTC
Sorry, we cannot change this because it will break Dr Konqi - which is far more valuable.
