Description davideps 2009-07-17 05:35:15 UTC
Version: 0.8.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-13-generic

I created an 80 page PDF using acrobat professional and omnipage for scanning and OCR. I opened the file in Okular and added a single annotation. I then reopened the annotation and changed the author name. I tried to save over the original file. It crashed, destroying the file (now 0kb). Luckily, I had a backup copy!

If you can reproduce the crash at will (having more backup copies), may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports and post a complete backtrace here? You may need to install the "kdegraphics-dbg" package. Thanks
