Version: (using KDE 4.2.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs In Mandriva 2009.1 I have been experiencing spontaneous restarts of X several times a day. It seemed to happen mainly, if not always, when reading mail - though I spend so much time on MLs that that wasn't conclusive. This afternoon I started kmail, korganizer and akregator as separate applications. They have been open for several hours now, and I have used each regularly throughout the time. I have had no X problems. The crash report creator does not appear - it looks exactly as though I had used ctrl-alt-backspace. Various updates seem to have cured this.
