Description m.wege 2009-07-16 15:33:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

This is not a direct crash of Kget, but even more severe.
Downloading http://debian.tu-bs.de/project/sidux/release/sidux-2009-02-aether-kde-full-i386-amd64-200907141427.iso

with kget made my system unresponsive. The mouse could be moved, but nothing else worked anymore. I was able to restart the Xserver. Trying this again with the same result, let the system alone for 1 1/2 hours to see if it came responsive again. But this did not happen. I had to reboot. After this reboot the configs kmail where gone, so I have reason to believe that the harddrive (with many, may GB free space) was filled up as am effect of this bug.

I cannot reproduce this bug... for me it just starts the download fine (don't want to download the whole file ;))...

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.
