OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

When I mark by mouse some text, sometimes Konsole disappears including window decoration, menu and all widgets and only marked line is visible.

What is your graphics card / drivers ? Do you use desktop compositing? (effects) ?

I have NVidia GeForce 9600 GT PCI-E, using proprietary driver 180.60
Compositing is enabled, there are no graphical glitches in any other application or plasma.
I had also no problem with KDE 4.2.4 and QT 4.5
This problem was present also in 4.3.0 RC1.
Currently using QT 4.5.2

Could you check if this stop happening if you disable compositing/effects ? Thanks

I tried to work without effects yesterday and didn't happen.

Can't reproduce it in KDE-4.7.0

Feel free to reopen  if this still happens in recent version.
