Version: (using KDE 4.2.96) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When the battery widget is located inside a panel, the power profile menu does not show all available items. By scrolling through the menu by keyboard you can still select the available profiles, but you can not see what you select, since the menu does not scroll.

Any chance this QT bug could be somehow worked around? It was marked as "some future release" in 2008, and in October 2009 marked as expired so it doesn't look like that one will be solved any time soon. I looked for another plasmoid having similar pop up menus to see if they'd have the same problem. I found one that has a menu that works fine: Look at the default (I think) time/date applet. When you click on it it shows a calendar. When you click on the month name at the top it pops a menu of months of the year, that are all visible. Any chance the same thing could be done for the power manager applet? Many thanks!
Yes please someone try to convince the Qt Nokia guys to reopen this bug. The closed it with the reason: "Not a bug". This affect at least Unit Converter but I can see that the Spell Checker Plasmoid works well. Or maybe this could be fixed by overloading the appropriate methods in Plasma.ComboBox?
I would like to confirm that this dropdownbox issue still exists with the unit converter. I can't follow the Nokia link from above, so I don't have any clue whether there might be any other help elsewhere or why this is marked as solved. Well if there might be a workaround or solution anywhere ... thanks for the help in advance.
