Version: 1.0.0-beta2 (using 4.2.96 (KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2)), Mandriva Linux release 2010.0 (Cooker) for i586) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-desktop-2mnb rotate a photo 90 ° counter clockwise photo is rotated thumb included in the photo is not rotated
How do you rotate the image ? Gilles Caulier
in 9.6 i select the image then in contextual menu i choose the option to rotate in 1.0.0b2 i select the image then i select at the upper left corner the rotation icon
dikikam 1.0.0b4 kipi-plugins 0.5.0 strange ! in digikam - the photo is rotated - if i double click on it i see a rotated photo - in picture editor i see a rotated photo - in exif data in thumbnail data and picture data before rotation orientation is set to "top, left" after rotation orientation is set to "top, left" in dolphin in the file selector i see a non rotated thumbnail in the data panel i see a rotated thumbnail
digikam 1.0.0 kipi-plugins 1.0.0 thumbnail is well rotated but same pb as in my comment #3 + in dolphin in the right panel in exif data i see width x hight 2848x2134 (bad) in digikam i see width x length 2134x2848 (good)
Well, in this case, it'z a bug in Dolphin, not digiKam/kipi-plugins. Dolphin use a dedicated way to display Exif info. Gilles Caulier
ok i made a bug report about dolphin
Ok. I close this file now... Gilles Caulier
